So we did our sky run for the night, im contemplating if i should LFP on DRK or something then suddenly i see “Sandworm!” in the chat log. Within a few minutes we had almost a full alliance of people huddled up in East Ronfaure [S] ready to kick some Sandworm butt! We wittled it down and got to check out Doomvoid. We were transported to Everbloom Hollow and were put up against the one and only King Arthro.

We just went up and started beating on it, which proved to be pretty bad as it -ga’d us and summoned quite a few Knight Crabs. After we wiped we got back up and decided to build TP on the Knight crabs and then SC and MB on Arthro. This stratagey worked very well! Unfortunatly we ran out of time when it was around 20% HP.

This was an amazing experience, the sense of exitment is something i haven’t felt from this game in awhile and im very happy that FullEclipse was able to assemble so quickly to do this. Good job guys! We’ll get him next time ^^

So this week is my first full week of classes for this semester and let me just give a bit of advice to all you participants in the educational system of “college” Having a Monday night class that ends at 9:50PM (thats night time for you folks that dont know) and then having Philosophy Tuesday mornings at 8:00AM is NOT a good choice to make. So just in case anybody was wondering about that…

So when im not falling asleep from exhaustian im contemplating the idea of possibly thinking about maybe getting a job, the new shadow lord statue isnt really helping with that decision to much (sarcasm) Hopefully theres something out there that can fit to my crazy ass schedule but make it possible to like.. breathe?

Got some good updates on the site today including another entry for the WG. (also updated steaks blog for him). You all can probably expect the 2nd podcast alliance sometime in a few days as well. We’re also planning on something that will give the podcast alliance a part in the podcasts, but I can’t really say any more on that subject at the moment. You’ll just have to wait and find out!

So as I’m sure most of you who listened to the episode know.. i went up to Michigan for the weekend to visit some old friends, and it was also my friend Alison’s 21st Bday so… i think everybody knows what that means

Also spent a lot of time playing Team Fortress 2 while Taiken and Durendal were showing each other who had the bigger spaceship in EVE. (ok.. so they were doing missions or something, i thought that sounded funny though)

So to sum it up, 4 hour drive, three 24 cases of mountain dew, misc. alcoholic beverages, rockband, TF2, and that is my trip lol

Figured I’d make a post about what I’ve been up to this week since I won’t be on the episode this week. (yay week off!)

This week I’ve been extremely busy following my own article i wrote up on the main page, “How Long is Too Long” After reading a thread in the BG forums about it I thought it was definitely something that deserved attention. Now we have a decent amount of people viewing the site, but I figured the article might hit a few linkshell forums and that would be the end of it.

Holy crap was I wrong.

I woke up the next day to find that it had been mentioned on a bunch of popular gaming websites and later that night it was mentioned on TV! Holy ????! We broke our daily record for hits let alone our monthly record. It’s just absolutely crazy. It’s a bit weird seeing “via PetFoodAlpha” on all these gaming sites i read regularly its like… “wow thats me!” I’m curious to see if SE will say anything on the matter, with the amount of attention this story has received i think it will be difficult for them not to. Theres many sides and arguments being made about this right now so i guess we’ll just wait and see what happens.

This week i’ve also been leveling my DRK some more, got it up to 42 this afternoon which  means just one more level until i can start my AF weapon quest. I’m enjoying the job so far, while it’s not my favorite out of the jobs i’ve leveled it definitely offers something different then just meditating, waltzing and jumping on stuff.

Tonight I also announced our new PFA segment “Player Achievements” This is something that actually came to be during a conversation in VanaChat. I guess there used to be a thread like what we’re doing posted in the Alla forums every once in a while and it got me thinking that something like that may be cool to do for the show. We’re always looking for ways to involve the community more with the show so I guess we’ll start this thing up and see how people like it! Make sure to throw up your achievements this week in the forums. Who knows, it may even be selected to be on this weeks episode ^^
